This Privacy Policy explains how Hao Apps and zhihaol.eu.org handle information when you visit the website, use supported applications, or choose to sign in with a third-party account.
1. Scope
Hao Apps is a collection of web applications and research tools maintained by Zhihao LIU. This policy applies to zhihaol.eu.org and to Hao Apps that reference this page as their privacy policy.
2. Information we may process
Depending on the service you use, we may process the following limited categories of information:
- Account information. If you sign in through email or a supported provider such as Google, GitHub, X, or Apple, the authentication service may provide basic account information that you authorize, such as a provider user ID, email address, display name, username, or profile image.
- Service data. Some applications may store account-specific settings, entitlements, saved items, or other data required to provide a feature you explicitly use.
- Technical and analytics data. The website and some applications may use Cloudflare Web Analytics and limited Google Analytics events to understand aggregate traffic, reliability, performance, and use of core product features.
3. How we use information
Information is used only when reasonably necessary to operate and improve the services. Typical purposes include authenticating users, maintaining signed-in sessions, providing account-specific features, enforcing access rights, diagnosing reliability issues, and understanding aggregate product usage.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use social-login data for advertising, surveillance, or behavioral profiling.
4. Social sign-in
When you choose a third-party sign-in provider, authentication is initiated only after your action. Unless a product clearly introduces a separate feature and asks for additional authorization, Hao Apps does not use social-login access to read timelines, collect posts, publish content, send direct messages, follow or unfollow accounts, or monitor social activity.
5. Analytics
Analytics are intentionally kept lightweight. Cloudflare Web Analytics may be used for aggregate traffic and performance measurement. Where Google Analytics is enabled, it is used for page views and a small number of explicit product events. Sensitive user content is not intentionally included in analytics event payloads.
6. Service providers
Information may be processed by service providers that are necessary to operate the services, including hosting, authentication, analytics, and infrastructure providers. For example, supported applications may use Supabase for authentication and account services, GitHub Pages for hosting, Cloudflare for web analytics and delivery-related services, and third-party identity providers selected by the user.
7. Retention
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to maintain an active account or requested feature, to protect the service, or to meet applicable legal obligations. Data that is no longer needed may be deleted or anonymized.
8. Your choices and rights
You may stop using the services at any time. Where applicable, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of account-associated information. You may also revoke a third-party application's access through the relevant identity provider.
9. Security
Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect account and service data. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so users should also protect access to their own email and third-party identity accounts.
10. Children's privacy
The services are not intentionally designed to collect personal information from children where parental consent would be required by applicable law.
11. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the services, providers, or applicable requirements materially change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when a revised policy is published.
